Leandro da Silva stars alone in the new men's fashion series from L'Officiel Hommes Italia. Behind that page are more than ten years of work, and we'd rather let Leandro tell you what it means.
The editorial
The series is called "the CULT" and runs ten pages in the June print issue of L'Officiel Hommes Italia. It's sixteen men's fashion looks, and Leandro appears in every one, alone.
The brands show the scale of the work: Dior, Gucci, Prada, Louis Vuitton, Saint Laurent, Loewe, Celine, Tom Ford, Valentino, Zegna, Burberry, Ferragamo, Dolce & Gabbana, Dsquared2 and Moschino. Photography by Carlos Teixeira, styling by Manu Mendi.
More than ten years to get to this page
A photo in L'Officiel looks like an arrival. It's more of a point along the way.
Cosmos's history with Leandro goes back more than ten years. It was years of castings, of seasons, of work that pays the bills, of material redone, of stretches when the next big door hadn't shown up yet. An editorial like this doesn't happen the week of the shoot. It's the sum of a decade of work that, at the time, felt small.
That's why we see a career as phases, not peaks. The peak makes the magazine. The phase happens in the years nobody sees.
In Leandro's words
Leandro wrote about what this editorial meant to him. We'd rather leave it with him.
Seeing this editorial published in this year's June issue of L'Officiel Hommes Italia fills me with enormous gratitude. It's an achievement that means a lot to me and confirms that all the effort, dedication and persistence really are worth it.
Being part of an issue alongside so many great names and talents makes this moment even more special. It's an honor to stand among professionals I admire and to be part of a magazine that matters so much to the fashion industry.
At the same time, I feel this is only the beginning. There are still many dreams to chase, and I believe every step is part of a much longer journey. I feel that sometimes it takes just one person believing in you for new opportunities to appear. But above all, it's essential that we never stop believing in ourselves and trust our own timing.
I also believe no achievement happens alone. Fashion is teamwork, and that's exactly what makes it so special. I'm deeply grateful to everyone who believes in me, who gives their all and is part of this journey. This editorial is the result of the talent, commitment and collective effort of many people.
This project in particular left me very moved, happy and fulfilled. Knowing that so many people contributed to making it happen makes this achievement even more meaningful. I hope this is just one of many chapters in a path I'm still building, certain that there's still a lot to achieve.

No achievement happens alone
One line of his stays with us: sometimes it takes just one person believing in you for a new door to open.
Fashion is teamwork. Photographer, stylist, beauty, production, the agencies in each country and the mother agency. The role of a mother agency in a story like this is to be the part that keeps believing and building while the result hasn't shown up yet, season after season, until the phase turns.
That's what happened here, over more than ten years.
Inside Cosmos
Cosmos Model Management is a mother agency: we represent models in international markets and follow the career over the long term, between the local agencies in each country. Leandro's path is the kind of story we build in years, not weeks.
If you dream of an international career and want someone to build with you over the long term, we'd love to see your material.
